Yellow moong dal is easy to digest. Adding green lehsun adds flavour and appearence to the dal.
- Heat the ghee in a deep pan and add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves and asafoetida and saute for 30 seconds.
- Add the dal and 2 cups water, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add all the spices and garlic, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the coriander, mix well and serve hot with hot rice.
