Ingredients

For Marination
2 tsp oil
1 cup boiled and peeled baby potatoes
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste

To Be Grounded Into Paste
1 tomato
20 garlic (lehsun) cloves
2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 inch ginger (adrak)

Other Ingredients
4 tsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1 onion , finely chopped
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
Method
For marination:

    For marination:
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl mix well and keep aside to marinate for 20-25 minutes.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the bayleaf, asafoetida and onions and saute till pink.
  2. Add the chilli powder and add the prepared paste and saute till the oil separates.
  3. Add the marinated potatoes and salt, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
