Khus- Khus Ki Poori recipe - How to make Khus- Khus Ki Poori

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 3 to 4 servings

250 gms plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
50 gms poppy seeds (khus-khus) , washed and ground into a paste
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
oil for deep frying
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft dough, using water if required.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into small puris.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry each puri till golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  4. Serve immediately with a cup of tea.
