For The Filling
1 cup mava (khoya)
1/2 cup coconut powder
grinded cashewnut (kaju)
soaked raisins (kismis)

For The Dosa
1 cup plain rice (chawal) , washed and drained
1 cup par-boiled rice (ukda chawal) , washed and drained
1/4 cup white urad dal, washed and drained
1/2 tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds
1 1/2 tsp soda bi carbonate
1/2 cup curds (dahi) , whisked
salt to taste
ghee for cooking

  1. Heat a non-sick pan, add the khoya and cook on a medium flame till the khoya melts.
  2. Add the coconut powder ,cashewnuts and raisins, mix well and keep aside to cool.

For the dosa

  1. Combine the rice, dal and methi seeds and soak in enogh water for 6 to 8 hours.
  2. Blend in a mixer to a fine coarse mixture.
  3. Add the soda bi-carb and salt and mix well. Keep aside in a warm place for 8-10 hours for fermenting.
  4. Add the curds to the batter and mix well to make a batter of pouring consistency. Add some water if required.
  5. Add to the batter, add more water if required.

How to proceed

  1. Heat a tava and pour a spoonful of batter on it and cook using little ghee till it becomes crisp and golden brown.
  2. Place 2 tbsp of prepared stuffing over dosa.
  3. Fold from both the sides.
  4. Serve immediately.
