Kaara Chutney recipe - How to make Kaara Chutney

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the tomatoes, chillies and tamarind and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Cool and blend in a mixer till smooth. Keep aside.
  4. Heat the sesame oil in a small pan and add the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  5. When the seeds crackle, pour this tempering to the chutney and mix well.
  6. Store refrigerated.
