Junnu is an unique Indian seet dish with muskmelon seeds soaked and then ground into a paste with milk. This paste is added to the milk nd cooked till thick. Sprinkle elaichi powder to render that delectable taste.

Ingredients

1 cup musk melon seeds (charmagaz), dehusked
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups + 1 cup (for grinding) milk
1 cup water
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
Method

  1. Soak the melon seeds overnight.
  2. Drain the water add one cup milk nd grind in a mixie.
  3. In a pan take the ground paste add all the ingridients except elachi.
  4. Keep stirring .
  5. Cook until the mittai resembles curdled milk.bring down.
  6. Mix in the elachi powder.
  7. Cool and serve.
