July-August 2005 Issue
Here comes monsoon my most loved time of the year. Though I have outgrown my age of getting wet in the rains I still make sure each moment spent in the house is equally fun. So here’s a unique way to party Kenyan style called the ‘Karoge’ party or else invite some of your friends home and create an impromptu meal for them.
In this issue we’ve started two interesting columns especially to encourage participation from my dear readers. In Readers Choice my team will visit a reader’s home and watch while she demonstrates her most favoured recipe; while Kitchen Bloopers gives you a chance to share a funny kitchen-related incident with other readers.
Kid sisters can indulge in creating an attractive thali for their brothers on Raksha Bandhan. And the mothers can enjoy the Vietnamese fare on offer along with some Chinese dishes by our guest chef Edward Wang. In addition to all above, the issue has regular articles like ways with flowers, enterprising entrepreneurs, ask tarla, etc.
