4 chopped tomatoes
1 to 1 1/2 chopped onions
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1/2 tsp garam masala powder (optional)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
oil as required

  1. Heat the oil on a kadai.
  2. add the mustart and jeera and wait till it splatters.
  3. add the chopped onions and tomatoes.
  4. add all the powders and cook till oil separates.
  5. Serve with chapathis, tortilla or with rice.
