Jain Taipei Paneer Chilly recipe - How to make Jain Taipei Paneer Chilly

Ingredients
150 gms paneer , cut into rectangles
1 cup capsicum , cut into strips
chopped coriander (dhania) to garnish

For Batter
2 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce

For The Sauce
5 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
Method
    Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the batter in a bowl and add water as required to make a thick batter. Heat oil in a pan. Dip paneer rectangles in the batter and deep fry them in hot oil till crisp golden brown.
  2. Soak dry red chillies in water for half an hour.
  3. Mix soaked chillies with other ingredients of the sauce and blend together in a mixer.
  4. Heat little oil in a pan and add bell pepper strips into it. Saute them for a minute and then add fried paneer.
  5. Add the sauce and mix them evenly until the sauce completely coates paneer and bell peppers.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
