Hot and Spicy Baked Cheese Fondue recipe - How to make Hot and Spicy Baked Cheese Fondue

12 slices of white bread
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 eggs , beaten
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1/4 tsp red chillies flakes
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp plain unsalted butter
  1. Butter or oil for as required for greasing.
  2. Combine eggs with milk, mustard powder, chilli flakes, red chilli sauce, salt and butter. Whisk well.
  3. Grease an oven proof baking dish with butter.Place half of the bread slices in the baking dish.
  4. Cover the slices with cheese. Place the remaining bread slices on top. Pour the egg mixture on top.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until set. Serve immediately.
