A spicy dip with a predominant garlic flavour, and a dash of tang with the addition of ketchup.
- Pound the chillies, garlic and salt in a mortar and pestle to a coarse paste.
- Heat the oil in a pan till it is very hot. Take it off the flame, add the prepared chilli-garlic passte and stir for 10 to 20 seconds.
- Add the tomato ketchup and mix well.
- Cool and use as required.
