Hot Easy Potato Stew recipe - How to make Hot Easy Potato Stew

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

1/4 cup chopped potatoes
1 cinnamon (dalchini) stick
2 cloves (laung / lavang)
2 cardamoms
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
1 tbsp finely chopped celery
salt to taste
1 tsp white pepper powder
1/4 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup cooked pumpkin puree
1/2 cup cooked potatoes puree
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

To Garnish
toasted cashewnut (kaju)

To Serve
  1. Boil enough water in a deep pan, ad the potatoes, cinnamon , cloves, cardamom nad boil till potatoes are soft.
  2. Discard the spices and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in another pan and add the cumin seeds.
  4. When the seeds crackle, add the celery, spring onions, paneer, potato puree and pumpkin puree and mix well.
  5. Add this to the above mixture and mix well.
  6. Serve hot garnished with cashews.
