Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
3/4 cup fresh cream
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
  1. Combine the sugar and ¼ cup of water in a saucepan and cook on a medium flame for 12 minutes. Do not stir in between.
  2. After 12 minutes, it will start changing the colour, keep tilting the pan and cook for more 2 minutes till it turns golden brown in colour, without stirring.
  3. Switch off the flame, add the butter and mix well with help of spatula, while stirring it continuously.
  4. Add the fresh cream and vanilla essence and mix well.
  5. Allow it to cool completely and use as required.

Caramel sauce.. thank you for this recipe.. this sauce the perfect one.. it does no get thick once it has cooled down.. I can store this for my desserts.. It is just too good.
