Boiled chickpeas is puréed with lemon, curds, garlic, parsley and oregano and drizzled with chilli powder and olive oil. The lavash tastes delicious when dipped into the herbed hummus. Enjoy!

Herbed Hummus recipe - How to make Herbed Hummus

Ingredients
1 cup soaked and boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas)
1/4 cup curds (dahi)
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste

For The Garnish
1 tbsp olive oil
a pinch of chilli powder

For Serving

    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients along with 2 tbsp of water and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Garnish with olive oil and chilli powder and serve chilled with lavash.

Addition of any fresh herbs makes this hummus interesting to serve in a party- you can add chives ,coriander too. serve it with japaleno on top to add spike to the hummus-loved it
