The Healthy Instant Oatmeal is one of the most popular breakfast recipes across the world, all with good reason – it is healthy, easy, quick and filling!
Loved by kids and adults, this no-fuss breakfast is made very easily by simply soaking oats and natural sweeteners like honey and dates in hot water. A pinch of cinnamon powder gives the oatmeal an aesthetic flavour while apple gives it volume and a fruity punch!
Apple and cinnamon are a made-for-each-other combo that features in several salads and desserts, so it gives an awesome taste to the oatmeal. We have not used any sugar in this recipe, which is instead sweetened with honey and dates.
Oats being rich in fibre and beta-glucagon, it helps to keep blood cholesterol and sugar levels under control. You can also perk up the oatmeal with more fruits and nuts if you wish.

- Combine all the ingredients, except the apples in a glass jar and mix well.
- Pour ¾ cup of hot water and mix well.
- Close the lid and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, mix it well, top it with the apples and serve immediately.
