Hare aam ke gattay recipe - How to make Hare aam ke gattay

2cups gram flour ,
2tbsp Soya flour,
1/2cupgrated kairi,
salt and red chilly powder to taste,
1/2tsp roasted cumin seeds,
1/4tsp asafetida,
3 tbsp oil,
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
few curry leaves (kadi patta)
2whole red chillies,
1tsp red chili powder,
salt and amchur powder to taste,
2tspfresh grated or desiccated coconut,
2tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  1. Make puree of grated kairi by grinding it in mixie.mix it with gram flour, soya flour,1tbsp oil , roasted cumin seeds ,salt to taste, asafoetida and red chilli powder. add a few drops of water and knead to hard dough. divide the dough into 8 equal portions. grease your palms and shape out each portion of the dough with the help of your palm into ½”
