Gulab Jamun Halwa recipe - How to make Gulab Jamun Halwa

  1. Heat the ghee in a thick bottom kadai.
  2. Add plain flour and sauté on a slow flame till the raw smell has gone.
  3. Add the mawa, paneer and sugar and cook on a medium flame while stirring continuously.
  4. Once the sugar has melted and the ghee separates take it off the flame.
  5. Add the saffron-milk mixture and rose essence.
  6. Spread the mixture on a greased plate.
  7. Sprinkle almond and pistachio slivers.
  8. Once cool cut into pieces and serve.
