Gud ka Sarbat is a popular cool drink for summer in villages of Uttar Pradesh and alo cheap and easy to make. Serve with roasted chana or kurmura.

Gud ka Sarbat recipe - How to make Gud ka Sarbat

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 serving

1 cup raab (melted gud)
3 cups chilled water
3 to 4 tbsp whisked curds (dahi)
1 tbsp soaked falooda seeds (subza) (optional)
  1. In a deep bowl combine water and raab, mix well and strain through a sieve.
  2. Add the curds and falooda seeds, mix well.
  3. Pour equal quantity in individual glasses and serve immediately.
