Groundnut Billets recipe - How to make Groundnut Billets

1 cup peanuts
1/2 cup chana dal (split bengal gram)
5 green chillies
1 small bunch coriander (dhania) , finely chopped
1 tsp ginger (adrak)
a pinch turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
  1. Wash and soak groundnuts and chana dal in hot water for 4 hours.
  2. Drain and grind the chana dal and groundnuts to a coarse paste along with the green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger, turmeric and salt.
  3. Take a small quantity and flatten on the palm and deep fry till it turns golden brown in colour. Drain and serve hot with coconut chutney.
