Green Peas Gulab Jamun recipe - How to make Green Peas Gulab Jamun

Ingredients
2 cups boiled green peas
4 tbsp cornflour
250 gms grated mava (khoya)
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
2 tbsp ghee

For The Syrup
4 cups sugar
1 cup water

Other Ingredients
oil for deep frying
Method
    Method
  1. Blend the green peas in amixer to a coarse paste.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a ghee in a pan, add the green peas and saute till they turn dry.
  3. Add the khoya, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove form the flame and keep aside to cool.
  5. Add the cornflour and cardamom powder, mix well and divide the mixture into small round balls.
  6. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry these balls til they turn golden brown and crisp.
  7. Drain and keep aside.
  8. For the sugar syrup, boil water in a deep pan, add the sugar and boil til the syrup becomes thick and all the sugar is dissolved.
  9. Cool the syrup slightly and add the prepared jamuns into it.
  10. Keep aside for 10 minutes and serve warm.
