Golden Coins recipe - How to make Golden Coins

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

4 medium sized boiled potatoes
1/2 cup grated carrot
2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp finely chopped green chilies
4 tsp sugar (powdered)
4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala
8 slices white bread
salt to taste
oil to fry
  1. Cut the bread pieces into circular shape with the help of a cutter or katori, keep them aside.
  2. Grate the potato and mix all the remaining ingredients in it.
  3. Wet the bread outer sizes with water and place the mixture in the middle of it.
  4. Now place another bread piece over it and press the corners well to seal them.
  5. Fry them in hot oil till they become golden brown.
  6. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
