- Heat ghee in a vessel and add mustard seeds. When the mustards seeds have spluttered add haldi, hing, jeera, pepper , red chilli and curry leaves.
- Leave it for 20 to 30 secs and add toor dal. Leave that for 20 to 30 secs until the raw smell is gone and add 6 tumblers of water.
- When the water starts to boil add tamarind and jaggery and let the whole
