Garlic Spaghetti ( Aglio E Olio) recipe - How to make Garlic Spaghetti ( Aglio E Olio)

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

3 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
4 cups boiled spaghetti
5 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soft butter
1 tbsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 cup finely chopped basil
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
salt and to taste

For The Garnish
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
  1. Heat the oil and butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the chilli flakes and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  3. Switch off the flame, add the noodles, basil, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well.
  4. Serve hot garnished with cheese.

  1. Parmesan cheese can be added to the noodles instead of processed cheese.

This italian no sauce recipe is a very difficult to accept in india. But i just thought of trying this recipe and it was just superb.. The aroma of garlic is mind blowing.. the spiciness from the chilli flakes adds a good taste.. Amazing quick and simple spaghetti.
