2 cups sliced mixed fruits
1/8 cup sugar
a pinch of cinnamon (dalchini) powder (only if using apples)
8 pastry sheets (6 inch squares)

  1. Combine fruit and sugar in a saucepan and cook on medium heat till the fruit is cooked but not too soft.
  2. Let it cool.
  3. Preheat oven to 375deg f.
  4. Place a small amount of the fruit on the pastry sheet and close the ends tightly. it can be shaped either as a triangle or rectangle.
  5. Place on a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or till the outside is a golden brown.
