For a shiny outer glaze, you could lightly brush the outside of the turnover with egg.
- Combine fruit and sugar in a saucepan and cook on medium heat till the fruit is cooked but not too soft.
- Let it cool.
- Preheat oven to 375deg f.
- Place a small amount of the fruit on the pastry sheet and close the ends tightly. it can be shaped either as a triangle or rectangle.
- Place on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or till the outside is a golden brown.
