1/2 cup papaya cubes
1/2 cup pineapple cubes
1 cup apple cubes
1/2 cup banana cubes
1/4 cup grapes
1 cup cucumber cubes
10 to 12 cherry tomatoes , cut into halves
1/2 cup boiled potatoes , peeled and cut into cubes
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp healthy green chutney , refer handy tip
1 tbsp meetha chutney
1/4 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
a few mint sprigs
salt to taste

For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl toss well and refrigerate till chill.
  2. Serve chilled garnished with coriander.

  1. To make 1 cup healthy green chutney, combine 2 cups of roughly chopped coriander, ½ cup sliced onions (optional), 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp sugar, 4 to 6 roughly chopped green chillies,12mm. (1/2") ginger piece and salt to taste and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste using enough water. Keep refriger

Altho the recipe sounds tempting n healthy, i dont think it will take only 10 mins as claimed.

Great recipe as it combines a variety of fruits which give a variety of nutrients. Chaat masala, black salt and cumin seeds powder wave their magic flavour which is difficult to resist.

It is common knowledge that pineapple and papaya must be avoided during pregnancy. Doctors also explicitly advise the same.

Tarla Dalal    Raw papaya is usually to be avoided in pregnancy. And pineapple in high amounts is not advisable, but here it''s used in small quantity in this recipe and hence take advantage of its vitamin C content.
