Delectable fare this salad is, with its varied flavours and textures, which range from the smooth texture and sweetness of pears to the crunch and spice of capsicum and the crispness of bread croutons.
However, remember that if you are to thoroughly enjoy this really unique textural extravaganza, you need to toss the salad just before serving. Else the bread croutons will get soggy, the pear and cucumber will get watery and paneer will get chewy! An aromatic and tongue-tickling parsley dressing adds to the fun, making the Florida Salad a memorable treat.
Florida salad is a wholesome salad , so when had along with a bowl of Cream of Tomato Soup , Cream of Spinach Soup or Healthy Lentil Soup , is sure to satiate your hunger.
- Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the paneer and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Keep aside.
- Combine all the ingredients along with the sautéed paneer and the parsley dressing in a deep bowl and toss well.
- Serve immediately.
