    Method
  1. Soak the figs and apricots in ¼ cup of warm milk for at least ½ hour.
  2. Combine the soaked figs and apricots (with the milk), remaining 1 cup of milk, ice-cubes and sugar and blend in a mixer till smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour equal quantities of the shake into 2 individual glasses.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with almonds.

When fig and apricot was soaked in milk, milk became so thick like curd. I m confused whether milk has got spoilt. Can you clarify?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Gopinath, the milk might be spoilt. The milk will become a little thick due to the fruits soaking up the water content from the milk. However, apricot and fig do not curdle the milk. Do try the recipe again and share your feedback.
