Fig & Honey Icecream recipe - How to make Fig & Honey Icecream

150 gms figs (anjeer)
750 ml milk
1 tin of condensed milk
250 gms fresh cream
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp custard powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp gelatine

  1. Reserve 2 tbsp milk & boil the rest of the milk.
  2. When the milk is boiling , add the custard powder mixed with the reserved milk.
  3. Boil , stirring & add 2 tbsp sugar.
  4. Cool , add condensed milk , whipped cream & essence.
  5. Soak figs in just enough water & when well soaked , liquidise.
  6. Add honey & gelatine mixed with i tbsp of water to dissolve it uniformly.
  7. Mix everything & freeze like icecream.
