Ingredients

12 ounces fettuccine
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup half & half
2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp snipped fresh chives
Method


  1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the packet.
  2. Meanwhile in a medium saucepan, heat the milk, half & half and butter over medium heat until butter is melted & the mixture is hot.
  3. Gradually stir in 1 1/4 cups of parmesan cheese.
  4. Cook & stir just until the cheese is melted.
  5. Drain the pasta & add the hot pasta to the cheese mixture.
  6. Toss until well coated.
  7. To serve transfer the pasta to plates.
  8. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese & the chives to garnish.
