Egg potato fry is a mouthwatering snack recipe with the boiled eggs covered with a boiled potato based spicy mixture. These egg and potato balls are then coated with beaten egg and deep fried in hot oil.

5 eggs
1 lb potatoes
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
salt to taste
ghee or oil oil for deep frying

  1. Boil four egg''s and potatoes separately.
  2. Beat the remaining one egg.
  3. Peel and mash potatoes. add all the seasoning to the potato and mix well.
  4. Take one whole egg and cover it entirely with the potato mixture.
  5. Dip in the beaten egg.
  6. Deep fry in hot ghee till golden brown.
  7. Cut it vertically and garnish.
  8. Serve with tamarind chutney.
