Egg Pakoda recipe - How to make Egg Pakoda

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 1 to 2 servings

2 boiled eggs
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/4 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
a pinch baking powder
oil for deep frying

For Serving
tomato sauce
  1. Remove the shell of the boiled eggs. Firstly cut the egg into half, then cut each half of the egg into 4 stripes lengthwise. Remove the yellow of the egg.
  2. Combine the besan, salt, chilli powder, baking powder and little water in a bowl and mix well to make smooth batter.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai, dip each egg white strips in the batter and put in hot oil and deep-fry it till the pakodas turn brown in colour from all the sides.
  4. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
