It's a beautiful recipe. It bring new flavor to egg. Even egg haters would love eating this. It's a traditional dish of tamilnadiu. It's an ancient dish. The best is to eat it with rice ,chapatti.

Egg Fry Masala recipe - How to make Egg Fry Masala

To Be Whisked Together For The Egg Balls
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 eggs
4 tbsp oil

For The Masala
2 sliced onions
1 slit green chilli
2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tbsp curry leaves (kadi patta)
1/2 cup tomato puree
6 tbsp tamarind (imli) pulp
2 tbsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 cup coconut paste
7 tbsp oil
  1. In a panayaram chitty pour this mixture with a soup spoon.
  2. Let it cook. Turn it the next side.
  3. Take it from chitty. Keep it aside.
  4. To make the masala. In a pressure cooker heat oil.
  5. Put onions vertically chopped ,tomato puree,tamrind puree, chilly powder, salt,green chilly,garlic, curry leaves. Statue it till a boil.
  6. After 7 -10 minutes put the coconut paste stir it.
  7. Put the fried egg balls inside this masala one by one. And close the cooker.
  8. After one pressure open the lid.
  9. Serve it with rice or roti.
