Discover an easy way of preparing easy khoya or mawa at tarladalal.com.Khoya or mawa is basically solidified milk which is used as a base for many popular Indian sweets or mithais.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add the ricotta cheese and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add the butter and milk powder.
- Keep on stirring constantly, until it reaches a thick consistency. ("khoya" consistency) , about 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat.
- It will be ready to use for your favorite recipes.
