Easy Dahi Chutney recipe - How to make Easy Dahi Chutney

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 to 3 servings

1 cup curds (dahi)
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp chopped green chillies
a pinch chilli powder

For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) ,
  1. Combine the curds, salt and sugar in a bowl and whisk it till it becomes smooth. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds, when the seeds crackle add the asafoetida, chopped green chillies and the red chilli powder. Mix it well for 2 minutes on a slow flame.
  3. Remove from the flame and pour it over the beaten curd, gently mix it.
  4. Serve hot or cold and garnish with chopped coriander.
