Drumstick leave dal is a traditional lentil preparation with drumstick leaves added. The mouthwatering dal recipe is tempered with mustard seeds and red chillies and garnished with freshly grated coconut.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the cumin seeds and crushed garlic and saute for few seconds.
- Add the steamed leaves and dal, mix well and cook the mxtue becomes dry.
- Serve with chapatis or roti.
