Double Chocolate Crispy Treats recipe - How to make Double Chocolate Crispy Treats

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 15 to 18 bars

1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups gems
7 cups chocos
  1. Mix corn syrup and sugar together in a 1 quart microwaveable container.
  2. Microwave on high (100%) for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes.
  3. Stir in baking soda and vanilla until blended thoroughly.
  4. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Add 1 cup chocolate candies and cereal and stir to coat completely.
  6. Pour into greased 13x9-inch pan and pat into place.
  7. Top with remaining chocolate candies.
  8. Cool and cut into squares. Store in air tight container for up to 2 days.
