Doodle Crunch recipe - How to make Doodle Crunch

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

30 gms rice noodles
oil for deep frying
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp chopped dates (khajur)
1 tbsp sliced onions
1 tbsp oil
  1. Preheat the oil, drop in small amounts of the rice noodles, remove and drain.
  2. They cook in only a few seconds.
  3. Put all the ingredients into a large pan, heat gently and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the onions cooked.
  4. Add the crispy rice noodles, and mix well.
  5. Spoon into a mould, and press it down with the back of the spoon to compress it.
  6. Leave in the fridge to cool.
