Although the recipe involves deep-frying, it is otherwise quite easy to prepare as the ingredients are common ones, and the batter can be easily prepared without any grinding or fermentation. Serve with khajur imli ki chutney to add to its appeal.

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl along with ½ cup of water, mix well to make a batter of dropping consistency.
  2. Keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in kadhai, whisk the batter vigorously and put spoonfuls of batter in oil and deep-fry a few at a time on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with khajur imli ni chutney.

The recipe is just easy and excellent. Gota were with crispy layer same like Dakor. Just amazing. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up.

Very easy to make. Delicious just like the authentic dakor na gota. The best part is these are not spicy whereas the original are so hot I can hardly eat 3 or more...My family loves dakor na gota....
