Ingredients

3 bread slices
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
a pinch of soda bi carb
2 cups beaten curds (dahi)
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
100 gms sev or any mixture(namkin)
1 cup oil (sunflower)
2 tsp roasted corriander and red chilli powder
salt and sugar to taste
Method


  1. Cut each bread slice into six cubes
  2. Add ajain,saunf,salt,sodabi-carb to maida. slowly add water and make a smooth batter.add two teaspoon s of oil to the batter.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai.dip the bread cubes in batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  4. Soak the excess oil in a paper.
  5. Place 4-5 fried bread cubes in each plate.
  6. Add salt and sugar to the curd.pour half a cup of curd in each plate.
  7. Add onion and tomatoe pieces.
  8. Spinkle roasted corriande and red chilli powder.
  9. Add sev or mixture.
  10. Chaat is ready to be served.
