Crushed Corn Pakoda, deep fried balls with a sweet and enamoring flavour of sweet corn bound together with besan and rice flour and flavoured with ginger and green chillies. Serve hot with green chutney.

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

  1. Take half of the corn and grind it into a coarse paste.
  2. Mix the remaining corn with this mixture and add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. It should be thick enough to make balls.
  4. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  5. Drop the mixture like pakodas into the heated oil.
  6. Fry them till they are golden brown.
  7. Drain on tissue paper.
  8. Serve hot with green chutney.
