Crunchy Paneer Taka Tak recipe - How to make Crunchy Paneer Taka Tak

250 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
2 finely chopped tomatoes
2 pinches carom seeds (ajwain)
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
4 tbsp oil
salt to taste
1 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  1. Heat the oil in a tava and add the carom seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the onion and saute for 1/2 a minute.
  3. Add the tomatoes and saute for more 1 minute.
  4. Add the chilli and turmeric powders, pav bhaji masala and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the paneer and salt and cook for a while.
  6. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
