Crunchy Bread Pakodas recipe - How to make Crunchy Bread Pakodas

50 gms besan (bengal gram flour)
4 bread slices , cut into triangles
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
1 tsp baking powder
oil for deep frying
  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the bread, and mix well to make a thick batter, using enough water. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a kadhai and dip each bread slice in the batter and deep fry till golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  3. Serve immediately.
