1 level cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 heaped cup dessicated coconut
2 dessertspoons golden syrup or honey
4 oz. butter or margarine
1 level cup plain flour (maida)
3/4 tsp baking powder

  1. Mix oats, flour, coconut and sugar in a basin.
  2. Melt butter\margarine and golden syrup\honey in a pan, add baking powder to it and bring to boil
  3. Now with a spoon pour each spoonfull on the greased baking tray and bake in moderate oven till light brown.
  4. Leave to cool and then put in airtight jar.
