Ingredients
2 cups ladies finger (bhindi) , into four lengthwise
1 cup sliced onions
1/4 cup maize flour (makai ka atta)
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
oil for deep-frying
Method
    Method
  1. Combine the bhindi, maize flour and salt in a deep bowl and toss well.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep kadhai and deep-fry the bhindi a few at a time till they turn light brown in colour from all the sides.
  3. Drain on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
  4. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the deep-fried bhindi, chilli powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder and little salt and mix well.
  6. Serve immediately.

Crispy bhindi aur pyaz.. as the name says.. crispy bhindi and crunchy onions.. with chaat masala for a tangy taste. this subzi.. is so yumm that one cannot stop eating.. this is loved by all kids and adults.. a big hit.. in my house..
