A crunchy yummy snack. . . Make sure you don't dip the bread slices in water for more than 5 seconds. Best served with mint chutney.

Crispy Balls recipe - How to make Crispy Balls

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

6 slices of whole wheat bread
salt to taste
1 tsp chopped red chillies
chaat masala to taste
oil for deep frying
  1. In a broad bowl, dip the bread slices in little water and remove immediately.
  2. Squeeze out the excess water using your palms and spread them in a large flat plate.
  3. Add the salt, red chillies and chaat masala and mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and make small balls out of these mixture.
  5. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry each ball till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  6. Serve hot.
