Cream of Vegetable Soup is a perfect winter warmer. This Soup has been made with the vegetables available in my refrigerator. The creaminess of this soup will make it popular among kids also.

Cream Of Vegetable Soup recipe - How to make Cream Of Vegetable Soup

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup finely chopped french beans
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
plain flour (maida)
2 cups water
salt to taste
2 cups milk
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
fresh cream
  1. Heat butter and oil in a pan and add the garlic and saute it for a minute.
  2. Add the French Beans and saute for two minutes.
  3. Add the carrots and saute for two minutes.
  4. Add the capsicum and saute the vegetables for a minute.
  5. Add the plain flour and saute it for a minute, add the Water and stir the mixture continuously to ensure that no lumps are formed in the mixture.
  6. Cook the mixture for a minute and add salt and mix well.
  7. Add the milk and cook for two to three minutes.
  8. Add the dried herbs and white pepper, mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
  9. Serve hot garnished with cream.
