1 tbsp maize flour
1 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) paste
3 tbsp ghee
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup roasted mava (khoya)
1/2 cup milk
10 saffron (kesar) strands strands , soaked in water
10 tart shells

For The Garnish
chopped pistachios
chopped almond (badam)
rose petals
  1. Heat the ghee in a pan, add the corn atta and saute till pink in colour. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the ghee in another pan, add the corn paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add a little milk so that corn does not stick to the pan, add remaining milk to cook corn paste thoroughly.
  4. Add the khoya, sugar and kesar, mix well and cook till the mixture becomes thick. Keep aside to cool.
  5. Pour the mixture in tarts till 3/4th side is covered, garnish each tart with pista, almond ,tutti-fruti and rose petals.
