Ingredients

For The Tomato Chutney
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
2-3 chopped garlic clove
2 chopped tomatoes
salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp sweet chili sauce
1 tsp sugar

For The Canapes
1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp chaat masala
25 canapés , readily available

For Garnishing
1 cup sev
1 cup pomegranate (anar) seeds
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
oil for deep frying
Method
For the Tomato Chutney

    For the Tomato Chutney
  1. Heat oil in non stick pan; add cumin seeds, asafoiteda, garlic, sauté for a minute.
  2. Add tomato, salt, chili powder, green chili, mix well, cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add sweet chili sauce, sugar, mix well, stir till little dry.
  4. Switch off the gas, transfer to bowl, cool to room temperature.
  5. Add corn, coriander leaves, onion, chat masala, mix well.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Arrange fried canapés in serving plate; fill the corn mixture in canapés.
  2. Serve garnished with sev, pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves.

  1. If you don’t want to deep fry the canapés, put 7-8 canapes on revolving plate in microwave oven and microwave high for 30 seconds, it will become crispy.
