Corn Puri recipe - How to make Corn Puri

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 6 servings

1 cup corn (makai ke dane) meal flour
1 cup wheat (gehun) flour
1 1/2 cups corn (makai ke dane) kernels ground into a coarse pasteB1_spell!
4 tbsp milk if you like
1 cup fenugreek (methi) leaves leaves
1 tbsp coarsely ground cumin powder
1 tbsp coarsely crushed coriander (dhania) seeds
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
oil for frying
warm water to bind the dough
  1. Combine the above ingredients and form into a stiff dough using enough warm water.
  2. Leave the dough for 25 to 30 minutes to rest.
  3. Roll into small puris on an oiled surface or roll between 2 plastic sheets.
  4. Deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with curd and pickle..
  6. Enjoy..
