The taste of coconut oil in this recipe makes this delicacy even more delicious and mouth watering.
- Heat the oil in kadhai and add the chana dal, mustard seeds and red chillies and saute till the dal turns golden brown in colour.
- Add the coconut and saute till it turns golden brown in colour.
- Add the rice and salt and mix well.
- Add the curry leaves, mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
